The Mission of the Women's Ministries Department is to give support to the four territorial Women’s Ministries Departments by providing information regarding resources, issues that are relative to women and families, governmental issues that can be addressed by women’s ministries and  facilitates initiatives that are national in scope in order to bring women into a knowledge of Jesus Christ.  Ensuring that the territories have available information regarding home and family where women play a vital and definitive role.  The National Women's Ministries Deparment also works with the VAVS, monitoring the activity of The Salvation Army volunteers at VA facilities.
